Hey, since the previous one was deleted after "the removal", and also died away.... I thought I'd bring this fun and interesting topic back.
What, is the meaning of your first name? Have you ever wondered that? Where does it originate? Well here's your chance....
Try here http://www.wikipedia.org/ for starters...
Here's mine....
My first name is Kenneth:
"It is an anglicized form of either the Pictish name Ciniod or the Goidelic name Cináed, and could mean "fire-head" or "born of fire." Other names have also been anglicized as Kenneth, including the Irish Gaelic Coinneach ("handsome one") and the Welsh Cenydd or Cennydd (the name of a Welsh hermit saint who traditionally lived in the 6th century). The Old English Cyneath may mean "royal oath" but may also be one of the earliest Anglicizations of the Scoto-Pictish name. Saint Kenneth's Day is October 11. English nicknames include Kenny and Ken, the latter also being a Japanese name meaning "sword." -article by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenneth
It's kinda cool that my name also means "sword" in japanese, hence the name "Kenshin" in Rourini Kenshin the anime series
What's yours?
