Has anyone here seen or have any opinions of subliminal messages? Go ahead and talk about them here.

As for me, I heard about one in the game, Wario Ware: Touched. If you have the record for (Ashley's?) theme song, and fast-foward it very quickly, you'll hear her say "I will grant your kids to hell." My friend said he bought the game just to see if it was real. And it was. It creeped me out. If it was put in there on purpose, I think it was to get people to buy it for that reason, like him.

I know of some in Disney movies. They put sexual content in their movies and it supposedly stimulates the mind so you'll remember the movie. Like in aladin, while they're under the balcony or somewhere near that scene, if you turn the volume way down you can hear aladin say, "Take your clothes off"

I saw this quickflash movie about subliminal movies and this was on it. I'll have to find it sometime.

There's a certain number you can type into cadbury machines and they say something but unfortunately I can't remember what it says or the number you type in.

There might be a certain combination of buttons you press on soft-drinks machines and you can get a free drink but I&#39;m not sure if I got lucky for that one. <shrugs>

i heard there was some messages on one of the beatle&#39;s albums. eh.. they creep me out so i try not to find them.

oh and one of my friends said that the word "Sex" appears in the Lion King at the stampede, if i remember correctly.

X3 I&#39;ve seen alot that if you play some songs in reverse, they have some fucked up messages. One was Brittany Spears, and another was some Satanic thing... @____@

Yeah, the Led Zeppelin song "Stairway to Heaven" has satanic messages if played backwards :)

My brother had a teacher that played this one song in class about the revolutionary war backwards and it was really fucked up. I don&#39;t remember what the song was though.

i saw a movie that had a very interesting concept in it... It said that supposedly, certain films have a few slides in them that say stuff and are absorbed into the mind... Like in the movie, for instance, there was a symbol which drove people crazy, and made them kill people. But even though i don&#39;t believe it would work to that extent, it may just be possible... the brain is a complex thing.

i&#39;ve heard of that before... I&#39;m not sure if this would count as a "subliminal message", but in Puerto Rico, right when the Pokemon thing hit big, there were claims of it being demonic. I couldn&#39;t see why.

Obviously we do not know all the purposes of the brain, and how it works completely. With that knowledge other people could exploit that weakness and you never know what would happen.

I remember hearing from a teacher once that long ago theaters used to flash quick frames like "Popcorn" or "Food" during films in order to stimulate the subconscious craving for snacks and, thus, giving the theater even more profit. :think:

they stick a LOT of stuff like that in magazines...you flip through them so fast you don't even notice wierd things...like i saw this one thing that demonstrated then did it in slow motion and i noticed a girl on a swing with an extra leg.

I used to be fascinated with Subliminal messages, but I stopped researching after I found a site that had a really interesting slideshow of different messages, but, out of nowhere, a picture of a lady with bloody butcher knives through her head popped up, and there was a really loud, shrill scream.

After that extremely frightful fiasco, I have trained myself to keep my volume down when browsing the internet unless if i'm browsing music.

By the way, has anybody encountered one of those sites with unexpected screaming people? I hate those sites with a passion; such things should be banned, seeing as nearlygiving someone a heartattack is far from humorous.

Yeah, there was a trick my friend played on me with one of those. You have to supposedly find something and after about 10 seconds when your face is close to the computer, a face pops up and lets out a loud scream.

that wasn't the thingy in the picture...it's way farther back and swings back and forth.

well, theres nothing else, and could of been anything, such as a tree limb broken off, and the bark thred is still attached so it just hands there, or a light that fell, but that thing in the back is more like a migit human, but its a bird.

If it was true, then we wouldnt be arguing about it because I would have found solid proof, instead of 'It isnt true, its a large bird' or 'its true, someone hung themself' all over the place. My guess to the hanging is that it was meant to be in the movie. I think people thought it was this and that after reading about things and rumours about the movie.

Well, I wanted to check it out, so I got my version of the song, which is from the 1994 "Greatest Hits" CD, and reversed it, and sure enough, it was there. What was the message? "It's fun to smoke marijuana". I thought it was hilarious, but apparently, some people had really big issues with it...
