did you know that most people have 40x more germs on their office or computer desk(includes mouse, mousepad, and keyboard) than in a toilet bowl? (also their computer desk has 4x more viruses that can cause disease or illness than from a toilet bowl)(the reason is because they dont clean their desks at all, and in a toilet bowl clean water goes in and out so it usually prevents germs from spreading.)

Sorry, but its hard to beleave it was 5000 Years ago. Back then, rome was only a village, and when rome was a huge empire, france was only a village. And that was before recorded religion too. About 1000 years before the very early egypt villiges too.

Rome was not only a village, Remus had already stated an autocratic council by this time and trade was on a massive increase. Rome had already started its famous traditions and established trade with the ancient egyptians. Also, the Chineese, Greek, Japaneese and Egyptian empires are well-over 5000 years old. Including the sacrificial religions of Southern America. None of the current religions dated further than 5000 years ago, but I think you will find that paganism was at this time practiced all over western Europe, including France, Germany, Spain and Britain. I believe that the word 'pretzel' originates from some form of word similiar to pretoni. It meant 'little reward', whether it was in Latin or French, I do not know.
RD

true, but those empires you speak of were still nothing more then a few villages 5000 years ago. And the Chinese didnt have an empire at 3000 BC, the Mongols ruled most of asia back then....We should make a new thred for this XD
According to the article, monks in seventh-century France were responsible for inventing the pretzel. They used the food to reward children for learning their prayers. The peculiar shape represented the arms of a child folded in prayer. The article goes on to say that pretiola, the Latin root of the word pretzel, means "reward."

ops, forgot to put the rest...
A fruit is the 'membrain' like thing that covers the seeds, but a bean isnt the membrain, but the seed it self. A veggie is the root and/or leafs from a plant that doesnt grow into a tree[I think] or branches out.
Correct me if im wrong.

Saying the membrane is the fruit would be saying the apple's skin is the fruit, not the apple itself.

The only reason why they seem clumsy is because most of the worlds products are crafted to fit and be used in a right hand, making it harder for some left handed to use.
