I went and saw it at the movie theatre last Saturday... <_<

It was awful. DIdn't follow the game AT ALL. No demons... just another movie playing off the whole mutated chromosomes thing... awful... They should have at least put a gate or two to hell in it, but noooo, that didn't. If your a Doom fan and want to see it, please don't just for the games' sake.

The Rock is Sarge... and he died at the end... he's really a villian, he's not the hero, there are no demons, no portals to hell, just a portal to mars... and something about a race that used to live there that had an extra chromosome that was created and that it either turns then like super human or turns them into a monster thingy depending on something with their soul... really stupid... i wanted to see imps and demons and *cries* horrible version.... horrible!

i just wanna see it to see how they manage a FPS movie!

The only part of the movie that is FPS is like for around 10 mins at the end. And it was just like you were watching someone play Doom3.

as i asssume you're talking about the part where it just shows the weapon and not him?

im woundering weather this was based more on the original doom games more? dont remember the there being any plot to the original...but i was young and using a chainsaw, ahhh, the good old days

The original Doom games had the same story as Doom 3: Evil things from hell entered military bases on Mars and its two moons.
