HAD one...got rid of it when i realized...the people i wanted to keep in touch with were elsewhere and those i didn't were on myspace...i think some of the people here were on my friends list (i remember at least 1 or 2)...nowi just xanga or facebook

Its only dangerous when to take it to seriously. I only have bands, people from ichigos/other online friends and real life friends.

You can upload any type of virus you want so long as you have HTML control and a FTP to hold the file. Myspace allows external sourcing of files. HTML is obviously supported. As simple as a line of code and you can be infested with some of the worst viruses. Just how do you think viruses get into your system from web pages? Embeded code.

I may not be the best when it comes to HTML, but I do know you can put stuff like that in it.

We're not fussing at you or telling you to delete your friends list, we're just informing you of the risk you run, I don't like viruses, so I figure other people don't like viruses, no need to go :mellow: on us, we're just trying to help.

It's more than just viruses, too. With a simple code, you can leave a comment on someone's site which redirects them to a fake log in screen. And if you're the one who created the fake login server, and they fall for it, then boom, you get your "friend"'s password and e-mail.

I'm currently trying to figure out how to do -......I mean, ....Nevermind...I'm not tring to figure anything out.

So, i've been getting a lot of friend invites from random bands that i've never even heard of. Blocked all of them XD

Why? I always listen to their music first. Many of them add you because they see a comment of yours on a bands profile they like, so most likely they have a similar sound.

I found many new bands I love that way.

OH, I do listen to their music. Not my cup of tea though. And most of them don't even look at my profile, they just randomly add me. I got invites from bands ranging from metal to country. Pretty funny stuff.

Never happened to me, save once. That band was full of people I knew from band. I have ties to the singer from In Public View, so I asked them. I think that's all the bands I've got.
