I just wanted to find and talk to people who are in this program in other parts of the world. I also thought people who are in it can answer questions for people who want to know more or who are thinking about doing it. I'm in the program at Hillcrest High School in Midvale Utah, and my current schedule for IB is:

IB Math Methods (SL, testing this year)
IB French (SL, testing this year)
IB English (HL)
IB History (this year is History of the Americas, and next year is 20th Century world)
IB Music (HL)
IB Biology or Chemistry (SL, haven't decided between the two, but I'll be taking one or the other next year)

I just started TOK yesterday, and I'm excited for it.
I currently only have 17 hours for CAS that I still have to turn in, so I'm a bit behind :heh:.

Still thinking about Extended Essay topics.

Edit: Just found out about TOK essays.

Information Technology in a Global Society, it's my humanities subject, it's pretty much looking at the social and ethical issues stemming from the use of IT . (It's a fairly crap subject, and apparently this year's group can study Computer Science instead, which is quite a rort.) Which is what my EE is about, the social and ethical impacts of mobile phone tracking (No exact question quite yet)

I take it in the high school (because I live in America and in America 11 and 12 grade are high school).

Edit: What do YOU think of IB so far?

Yay, all my IB tests are over as of today!

PS, I ended up doing my EE on Ravel and Gershwin.

former IB student
failed miserably due to my ineptitude of the english langauge and european history (were both HL courses which i got like 3s on)
so i only have the certificate, but i have no major complaints about it, as my results were self imposed, it did it's job
but ToK i'm told, was hard for us, but easy as hell for everyone else
mainly because our teacher was the older version of M xD, he knew everything
every presentation we thought we were wel prepared and researcehd thoroughly, but he always finds one thing and leaves us looking stupid, but whatever
IB was fun...in a way, i can honestly say i was never bored and academically stimulated which i have no complaints about :)
