I was wondering is anyone could try and transcribe a song from this series for me. Piano solo is preffered.

Um, This here's the original song:

And this is something that somone else composed by ear:

It's up to the transcriber, whether to compose their own style of this song, or to just make sheets of the piano version that someone else made.

I'd really like the sheets for this, and much help would be appreciated!
Thank you!

I'm sorry that I'm digging out a more than 3 year old post, but since this is the first site you find when searching "nageki no mori sheet music" with Google, and many more people will search for it, I think it will be good to post the link here.

The song is called 嘆きノ森 in Japanese, that means "Forest of Grief". It was also used as the opening theme to the PS2 Game "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Matsuri". For more information see Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Higurashi_no_Naku_Koro_ni_soundtracks#Nage ki_no_Mori).

Hinata Haruhana (ひなた春花) made a beautiful arrangement.

If you can read Japanese, you can visit her homepage (http://haruhana.pya.jp).
If you can't, then here is the direct link to her handwritten sheet music (http://haruhana.pya.jp/14-nage01.zip).

Please ask her, before you make copies. But it's okay if you only use them for yourself.

Well, I hope that I helped you, who reads this post, and I wish you have a lot of fun when playing this music.

PS: I attached a new readme, that I transformed to unicode.
