I for one have been well informed and excitied about this game ever since it was announced at E3 last year.

The whole game looks good so far and if they were to release it right now, I would still buy it.

What can hiding in the box do for Solid Snake in the game (because there's no blind terrorist, I consider it to be pretty useless)?

It's coming out on December 3rd, in case anyone was wondering. I WANT TO SEE META-KIRBY!! And Solid Snake-Kirby. The Halberd looks awesome.

Where did you hear that? I was pretty sure Kojima or Miyamoto said the box would be in game...

Also, the new animal crossing level looks soooo awesome.

Eeehhh, I never liked them anyway. Ice climbers are a bit cheap, and Mr. Game and Watch, well.......

EDIT: I suppose I meant the really good characters, like Link, Samus, Fox, Kirby......you know, the staples of the game. (although I really think it could do without Pikachu and especially Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff gets really cheap in Onett, since you can just use his rolling attack in between the houses and everyone goes flying off screen. I have a friend who called this tactic "the pit of death.")

Protip: Don't go down there and you won't die.

AND if any of you have really played the Metal Gear Solid GameS you would know Snake is quite a humorous character and the Metal Gear games are really more humorous than serisous. that is why he belongs in the game, than and Nintendo launched the Metal Gear franchise. :think:

It looks really good though. Pit and MetaKnight look fun. But then again, maybe it's just because I like swords. ^.^;

They have confirmed a Fire Emblem Level(s), and I think Marth and/or roy is returning, and maybe another Fire Emblem Character in, so you could be in luck.

I like characters with swords too, thats all I played with in Melee. :heh:

Two words: Disjointed hitbox x_x I hate fighting sword people because I tend to use characters without many disjointed attacks...

I'm just miffed because Snake was supposed to be in Melee, but he didn't get put in in time. So, they put him in brawl. Nuts.

As for me, I'm probably not going to waste 150-200 USD for a wii just to play the game, so I'll just stick with hijacking my friends. That is unless it comes out for the GC (not likely).

I just hope there is a chance that ridley will be a playable character. His theme is already confirmed on the official website.

Ridely, if i remember correctly, is a Giant Metal Bird with an Hourglass as a leg.

the music for him is as a boss battle. meaning you will have to fight him but sadly he is an NPC for now.

Hey, were "Geeks", "Nerds", E.T.C. ... we like them because...they're cool & for any other reason, but I really like swords because
1.) I'm actually a quarter Japanese ( no one ever believes me...)
2.) Video games & anime find ways to make them cool
3.) Look @ FF8 & tell me mixing the two isn't cool
4.) Even though I don't fence, I kinda have a natural talent @ sword play
(LOL, every geek in the US thinks that too ...)

I have a wii and i can't wait for the game to come out :) some of my friends are counting down to Halo 3 right now -_-, I'm not gonna say that game is gonna be bad or anything but still... there's way too much praise for the game.

I would really like to see Marth and Roy in brawl ^.^ They were my favorites in melee.

I know that for the third-party characters, they're gonna limit themselves to about 4 or 5, and one from different companys.

Snake is from Konami so that means the other possabilitys could be SEGA (Sonic, no doubt), Namco (hopfully one of the Tales characters, but most likely they might put in Pac-man), Capcom (Good chance that it would be Megaman, though I would perfer his Megaman X form, but other possable contenders would be Zero or Phoenix Wright), and Square-Enix (High chance it could be a FF characters, but Sora from KH could be a possably)

As for Fire Emblem Characters, I know Ike is in it, but hopefully Marth and Roy are back (expecally Marth), but it would be neat to see Ephraim (from FE: Sacred Stones) in it as well.

The characters that I would like to see in SSBB are Ridley, Ephraim, Wolf, Sonic, Megaman X, Kratos Aurion, Luneth (FFIII), and maybe even Wolf Link.

If they did put megaman/megamanX in there, he would be a combination of Samus and Kirby I'm sure.
