i'd like to present you some of my drawings and i hope for criticism and advice since i need to learn a lot.

the first one is an elfen lied fan art - elfen lied is my favourite anime. unfortunately it's no good quality..

i'm not used to using colours, i usually draw with a pencil only.. but i tried and this is what came out;

Wow. They're really great. :] I think as far as critisizm goes, the eyes on the second picture are a little too far apart. Other than that the coloring is great.

Whoa! NICE coloring!! you make me jealous. the first one is cool, but at the same time scary :lol: keep using colors and practice more, i think you'll get better and better at it.

this is another one which is not as old as the first two pics. i drew it in january - which is still old, i know ^^ i'm not satisfied with her arm and the hand holding the shell...

Nicely done! you can model that hand with yours by looking in a mirror. post more =)

@ eternal: it actually took a lot of time.. but it was important for me to do it properly since it's an under-water-pic and i loce the effect of hair floating in the water.

beside drawing i like to take photos. they're not so special and i don't manipulate them since i don't have a good programme for that but i'd like to present some of them here.
i took the first three pics when i took a walk around the fields near the village i live in.
the fourth one was taken in berlin. the whole scenery looks artificial, doesn't it?

Nice photos! I like the one of the Mondrian style building with the puffy clouds.

I like the lighting in the first picture. :)

The composition is good in the last one, but it's all a bit dull. As in colour. :O

Very nice. I think that you should practice more on the eyes. Practice make perfect! :)

actually a good technique to use when you want the flowing effect for hair is to shade in the curves after outlining the wavey hair.
I like the grapes :D there are lots of yummy grapes in china :D

@ methodx: the dullness in the last photo is what it makes so interesting, i think, it looks artificial, not natural, that's what i think. i actually don't think it's a beautiful photo but it's interesting.

I like the hair and the eyes. The neck and shoulders/shirt flow really well together. :lol:

I used to draw manga/anime type things, so I can just say so much.

I like how you made the eyes shiny and still kept the iris clearly visible.

hehe, Elfen Lied is my favorite anime as well. Feels really sad for Lucy, did she ever feel happiness? and the song lillium is simply the best anime song ever, fits perfectly with plot.

Yeah, I think black would look good. Dark brown would too.
