I'm not sure if this is legal (If it isn't, could an admin delete this), but I found a that changing the file extension works just fine. Make sure you can see the extension, then change the .MUS to .MID or .MIDI. I'm not sure yet if it will play in a standard program (Like WMP or iTunes) but I imported one like this into Noteworthy Composer and it worked fine.
