The zelda strings quartet i should be able to get to u to some extent. it wont be pefect but it will sound cool. A problem is I will have to do each song sepereate due to key signature changes and time signature changes. If you want you can have them lead into each other as you play though.
Also i have orchestrated the mario them in finale so I could probably do an orchestral version of zelda too.

Heres the mario theme for my concert band. Im sorry if some instruments aren't there. If u need any to be added just tell me. It should only take a second or two. By the way, can u give me a list of all the instruments that would be in your higschool orchestra? One last thing, It has come to my attention that in the program i use i can only fit 8 instruments, but i have wirrten out the mario theme on individual sheets for each instrument. So the file i attachted is basically a sample of what it would sound like from my concert band.

ok Im confused, I need list of all the instruments in your orchestra to write it out. The format that i will write it out in will not be like the one i sent you, like i said that is a sample, would you like all the instrumental pieces for the mario theme?

yeah, sorry about that, the day I got home from camping my friend invited me to his house, so i couldn't work on them. Ok though, I will try my best to get them as accurate as possible seeing as I still havent got a reply from the video poster on tube. I only have one question. You see im not familiar with the bass instrument you mentioned, theres a lack of music theory for you, is another name for it the contrabass?

Ok here is a list of ways to print something in finale. You do not have to change the file to a jpeg image or a pdf. You can print sheets directly off finale. There should be a printer picture at the top left corner on the screen. If not then you must have not enabled the file utilites pallet. To do this click on window at the top of finale and enable the file utilities pallet. From window you can also turn on other options to make writing music easier. If you can't get the printer to work tyr this. Go to file at the top left corner of the screen and click print. If this still doesn't work then you have even another option. Hit and hold down control. On your keyboard it is right below shift on either side, spelt (Ctrl). While holding down control press p and it should come up with a printer menu. You should be able to print from there. And if that does not work I have one las trick up my sleave that may help. I will try my hardest to make it a pdf file through like 10 different steps. But first try to print it.

OK here are the songs for those of you who do not have finale. I still recommend that you download finale so that you can hear what they sound like.

No problem, I am unable to do the 3rd song in the strings quaartet bad news..:( It is found between the times of 1:50 and 2:30 on the video link you posted. My friend and i are working on a solution to this problem. Is it ok if i can't get that to you? I will still try my hardest to get it so I probably will find a way. Im 95% percent sure that i can get it too you eventually but I will need help from my friend so it may take a couple weeks before I can start it. In the meantime though I have skipped ahead to song # 4! It starts at 2:30 and continues onto 3:00. It is a favourite among those who have followed legend of zelda. Here it is the palace theme from the adventure of link! (written out like all the others)

Im am really sorry for the huge delay scince my last reply, I am in the midst of moving so I havent really had time to work on the music. On top of that I have joined the senior concert band at my school, and the junior symphony orchestra in my town. So i have a lot piled up for the next while. Good news though, My friend and I have discovered a sloution to our problem with the other songs. I dont know how well they'll turn out. These songs are a little more complex then the other songs.

ok this one was strange. Number 9 is called Ballad of the Windfish and is from loz links awakening. It is a beautiful peice and I have been waiting to do this one for a while. Anyways I didn't make a part for the viola or the bass. This one is a duet for a violin and cello. It's not perfect but it still sounds great. If I added the viola and cello into this it would take away from the sad and lonely sound that it has in the youtube video. Btw only one short piece after this and I start working on the ones I skipped over.<_<

I have been searching, originally, for a Legend of Zelda Medley, from the Hyrule Symphony soundtrack, for the full string orchestra. And my search has been a failure to this point. So i decided that i could hopefully create my own medley from parts i find from Zelda Orcarina of Time. And so far i only have two songs, although one doesnt even include a string bass part.
I'm hoping, that someone here could help me. My conductor/teacher said if i found the music we could play it for our Senior concert, seniors pick it is, and i'm not doing too well.

It just have a Cello, two violin (i think) and one Viola.
And i've the feeling the vidéo is longer than the music sheet.

I'm working on the largest epic Zelda medley ever created. After I finish it, I'll arrange it for piano, quartets, various brass and woodwind instruments, and small ensembles upon request; excluding very large ensembles (too much work).

It'll make you go :eek: You'll need to wait another year or so until Spirit Tracks is released for Nintendo DS so I can get that in my medley as well.

That sounds great! I think i would need an arrangement for a smaller ensemble at the moment. Our class only has one bass, two cellos, two or three violas, and two or three violins. I may be able to rope in some more musicians, so please keep me updated on your progress!

Yeah, I hate to be a buzz kill, but a string quartet is 2 violins, 1 viola, and 1 cello. There's no bass involved.

It'd probably be best to make a new thread. That being said, I'd suggest Googling a piano solo arrangement and just playing the right-hand line when the melody starts. Should work just fine
