I would have to say my favourite piece to play on piano (at the moment) is Rachmaninoff's Prelude No. 5 in G minor.
When I play my transcription/arrangement of the Zelda Theme it usually gravitates a bit of a crowd.
PS ~ Mods might want "fix up" the name of the topic

Hiya! Welcome to the forums!
My favorite piece to play is Chopin's "Nocturne"
The piece that draws a crowd and amazes people would have to be "Ave Maria".

which Chopin Nocturne?
think my favourite piano piece at the moment is either Liszt- Gnomenreigen or Ravel- Toccata; both so much fun to play =]

I know this will sound super boring and overplayed, but when I want to relax and play something simple yet emotional, I always turn to Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (1st movement).

Lol. I like to play the song "Candle On The Water" from the Disney movie Pete's Dragon.
It's not really because of crowd-pleasing power or anything like that. It's sentimental value.
I taught myself how to play with that song.

"To Zanarkand" by Nobuo Uematsu or "Ride on Hell's Back" by Clint Mansell.

right now I'm playing "One Winged Angel" from Final Fantasy VII. It's the arrangement from the Piano Collection series. It is a lot of fun and work at the same time.

I like playing different variations on the Canon. I love the piece and you can do so much with it.

Beethoven's Pathétique, second movement.
Such a calm, wonderful piece. One that I can actually play too, haha.
