Yeah... Here's to my crummy but somewhat existing work. It's a few things I'm working on at the moment, and they're all played on the piano. Yes, I do need the metronome sometimes because the piano just isn't quite my thing. I had to record this using a (the first and last) tape recorder, and then electronically hook it to my computer and put it on there, and b (the middle) pen recorder with my little brother watching (he talks a lot), a pen recorder which isn't the best thing, but my other one broke. My mics weren't long enough, and I didn't feel like buying extension cables for the things.

I hope you like it. They are my work-in-progress if you will, and are raw material. You guys can feel free to use it as you please. I don't have any sheet music if you like it that much, because frankly, I keep it stored in my head, and all my notation paper goes to guitars and basses.

Eh, please let me know how you all like it.

You should keep all your compositions in one thread, just to keep the forums clean. :mellow:

~~~
Your playing keeps speeding up, hence I don't know if that's your desired effect. Your accompaniment can also be improved by having variation; just areppegios is boring. Around the 1:00 mark, there was a random break, I don't know if that's intended or not, but it's unfitting. Your melody can also be improved upon; it's too repetitive and rather cliched. And that sudden change of instrument was weird. o.O Even though if it was all impromptu, I don't think it's necessary to have such sudden changes. But yes, monotone is the biggest issue to the piece. Your harmonization can also be improved upon.
You should skip the metronome since you did not play by it anyway =)
what you have here is what I would call an idea sheat. look through all the bits you played and find something you like, take that bit refine it and build a new song from it.
You have alot of beautiful parts to pick from.
oh, and as sir dot said: post all your stuff in one thread
H'okay. Thanks guys. I'll do that in the future, if I can... I probably won't have a lot of work out in the near future because I'm working on stuff and school and sports, etc.
