Based on a 4-koma manga by Yoshimizu Kagami, serialised in Comptiq.

Having fun in school, doing together homework, cooking and eating, playing videogames, watching anime. All those little things make up the daily life of the anime- and chocolate-loving Izumi Konata and her friends which is portrayed here. Sometimes relaxing but more than often simply funny!

Opinions:
Off kilter, Weird, Otakus, Tsundere's, Lolicons, Moe, Parodies, and injokes alike. Many words can be used to describe lucky star. Lucky Star is an anime designed by Otakus for Otakus. Filled with many scenes from other classical anime, and random segments of, what I feel are, true to life segments.

There isn't a real story to this anime. Rather, the flow of the anime is the storyline. Many find this boring, but those that wait it out will get a rewarding experience.

If you have seen many animes, you'll get a pretty good kick out of this

There are already subs out, but it's not from a subbing group. A guy somewhere put subs in it...I just downloaded it because I want to see it, I'll re download it when one from a subbing group comes out :3

I loved the Volleyball game, Tsukasa reminded me of myself when I was a little kid XD

The someone was TAPpika from CrunchyRoll. He did a decent job, not the best, but decent none-the-less. The OVA has already been Ghost licensed, so you'll be lucky to find any real groups take it on. Maybe Zero or Chihiro or other fansub groups that are outside of Region 1.

There's a rumor that a new group called Aphina might be taking it on, but I've yet to find anything beyond them saying that they're going to do it. Also, from their website, it seems very much like it would be of /lesser/ quality to TAPpika's speedsub.

I liked TAPpika's subs, it was alright but the unsynchronized Lucky Channel part is the main reason I wanted to re download it...

I just started watching the Japanese subbed episodes of this and I've watched up to number 8 and I really like it! xD Although I haven't watched a lot of different anime I still think this is really funny.
