Started at 1am.. Finished at 3am.

Well, not exactly "finished", but I refuse to continue because it's tedious.

I actually planned to make it one of the tutorial midis (but too lazy to write that specific tutorial at the moment), so I didn't really compose seriously.

Tell me what you think.

Hehe, that's pretty good for two hours of work. I noticed all the phrasings and cadences, which is what you were trying to prove since you wanted to write out the tutorial. Good job!

Nice flow, but it needs some sort of memorability too, unless you don't want the listener to "listen > shut off > delete" the song. That's basically what I do when I listen to other composers' songs. When I notice something good or extraordinary, I keep it on my disk so I can listen to it again. My suggestion for you is that you obviously have a good knowledge of music, so use those skills wisely, as you need to improve your composing skills. Listen to your favourite pieces written by your favourite composers and see how they affect your listening pleasure, and try to figure out how they managed to make you listen to their songs.

So to rephrase, you have good musical skills, but you should learn more about melodies and memorability. Try singing while you play the piano (I suppose you compose on the piano first) so it'll be easier for you to come up with a good melody.

The song itself was pretty good from some perspectives, but it won't please the untrained ear that much.

6.5/10

Bad name, good song. 0/10 for name, 8/10 for composition.

It sounds ALOT more like church music.
