Has any one heard/ or go on the web site known as 4 chan?

4chan..can be a resource to things, non sexual ones :P

4chan..is a complicated subject afaik. Just avoid it is my advice.

Taboo? (i'm gonna feel really slow for asking this later but...) what's so bad? I've never heard much about it except for when I read about the Nevada-tan incident.

Why would anyone mention 4chan in a 13+ forum? There's always Wikipedia and Urban Dictionary, not to mention all the Wikipedia clones out there. There is also Google.

The place is chock full of porn, trolls, spam, people who read wikis and are like "omg, a place that raids other places, maybe even harasses people on and off line, must use!!111 (this doesn't happen though, its also against the rules) , incest stories (all fake, the relative always wants it more), hardcore racism, memes that are not funny (ok maybe a few XD), and people with no friends (probably not all of them are like that though).

There are probably a few good points, but I haven't really seen any, not that I go there or anything. I do however, feel compelled to mention seeing a thread or two where members complained about new people going to far and ruining the place, but that has nothing to do with me and I'm definitely not one to be giving an explanation. I've only gone there out of curiosity (the image section wasn't too bad really), found a clone that contained disturbing images, checked out a few specific wikis, dropped everything, and then never looked back.

I seriously recommend that you avoid this site unless that's the kind of thing you are into. I don't really care if you are or not, there are worse things out there anyways. Just be weary of any over the top enthusiasm wikis may have for it. Again, why is there a thread of this in a 13+ forum?
