This was a big duscussion at my luch table. What is the difference between a postitute and a Porn star? I understand that one is in a movie and one isn't but wtf. The Porn star is still getting paid to have sex with an almost random guy.

The difference is environment. A porn star is in an closed environment, only certain rings of people have sex with them; whereas a prostitute is usually in an open environment, "sucky sucky five dolla".

Morally, they are exactly the same. People just see them slightly different because the stars have been on the big screen.

Being a porn star is also decided through selective means, doesnt it?

Prostitution is illegal because it can spread STDs I think. Porn stars don't spread STDs, and I'm pretty sure everyone involved in most porn movies get screened for STDs before filming to protect the actresses and actors.

depends on your monals and values, for some it is dirty because it's sex out of marriage for the purpose of entertainment, when in their minds sex is supposed to be for the purpose of either a) making babies 2) pleasing your wife and showing your love for her, and there are no other "right" ones, and anything else besides that is "dirty"...i think :P
