I saw this on Toonami earlier today for the first time...

can anyone tell me what its about?

its about a guy, Haru i think?, traveling to find these evil items called (forgot name) and this evil group has most of them. he meets a girl named Elie and some others along the way.

its a very good series...my fansubs are corrupted....i might have to d/l em again....or buy em...either way works.

EDIT: o yea! forgot something. his sword is the only thing that can defeat it. and he has to find these items called Rave to enhance his sword to change into 10 forms. meaning there are 10 Rave.

i think this is right for the most part. but i could be wrong on some.i haven't seen this anime in a year so please forgive me if i do mistake some things.

Yep, that's pretty much it.

If you want my opinion, Rave is okay. It's not on my top ten but it's good enough for me to get into (Trust me I'm hard to please).

hmm..its a pretty old anime abt 4 years old, but axn only screened it like in 2003? it's basically about rave. haha. yeah...the original stone was called rave(named after the girl who created it) and after she died, it shattered into 5 pieces. one of the pieces could be incorporated into the sword (ten commandmends) and based on the user needs, it can turn the sword into 10 different forms. the opposite to this stone is the dark bring, which are basically stones that eh..have evil powers. ^_^ the drawing is not absolutely fantastic though above average, but the story line has a lot of shounen elements which makes it pretty good to watch.

An intresting anime, but seems a bit childish; reminds me of the "each story has a moral that we have to point out to you" idea.

I watched it 4 times already, and know all of haru's swords. although the sword is named 10 commandments, there are only 9 which I knew, and is viewed. namely:
1) Eisenmeteor-the iron sword
2) Sword of Explosion
3) Silfolion- sword of velocity
4) Loonsave- sword that cuts intangible things like magic, etc.
5) Blue Crimson- twin swords of ice and fire
6) Melforce- Sword of vacuum
7) Graviton(i don't know exactly) - sword of gravity
8) Million Suns- sword that blinds enemies with holy light...literaly
9) Sacrifar- lives up to its name. This sword is so powerful that the wielder gets stronger by the minute, and looses his life by the process.
That's all that I can recall.

rave master is the most scryeist anime i've ever seen! i hate the themes and music to it. sounds so very childish and wierd

Decent, but seems to be a bit cliche. There ARE interesting twists in the plot, but it's not very original.

there was an episode when the gang goes to this muesuem and they see all these pictures and there this one of a legendary dog...and its name/title was plue...

a very interesting story....haru and elie...are they a couple?...anyways, i've only read most of the manga and it's pretty cool to me. The animations and drawings look likeone piece....

i don't know whether they are a couple, but i know they are friends... good ones!
