Flute is a C instrument, so the sheet doesn't have to necessarily be for flute does it? Maybe I'm not understanding something with all these requests for specific instruments solo... would think it would be easier to request the solo music in a specific key.

very true, it can also be piano, sometimes violin, sometimes oboe, sometimes trumpet, anything close to C-concert pitch is playable for flute. i agree with you very much about requesting them for key, but some instruments can play tabs or some other different kind of music that others cant so even if it was in the same pitch, it could still confuse people. ^.^

And by the way, everyone, ichigo's has already posted a version for piano in their regular sheet music website (in otherwords, not the forums) so go search there. its very playable for the flute and i found it rather easy. here's a link just to be sure you understand...
