well in my jazz band there is a little subdivision which has a violin, 2 if needed, a cello, and flute. i joined this "little group" playing flute and we don't really have anything interesting to play. Anyone have suggestions? nothing to hard though one of our violin players is somewhat new.

Doing some research on it; a violin, cello, and flute is known as a "Hamilton Trio". I haven't found anything yet... :/

I'd just call it a flute trio, really. It's more understandable since flute quintet is literally flute, violin, viola and cello. And you can probably find more classical-ish pieces by that title.

No, that's another major misconception in music. If you learned some history about music, you'd understand why.

well thats a little vague. what kind of music do you want. like what kinda of genre.

any kind would be nice but i suppose since our first concert will be in winter... Christmasy music!!:lol:
