Violin is heavily emphasized in it, and a very great impression on the first episode of the "unfinished melody".
The OP features a bunch of old time friends, in high school, performing in a band.
This anime has crystal clear graphics, very much similar to Kanon (2006) type animation, i totally recommend it as it has something to do with music...about transcribing the songs in the anime....i'll have to listen to the rest of the violin piece next episode, since its an "unfinished melody" x]

It is quite nice from the one episode I have seen in RAW form. Nice clean and crisp animation, and halfway decent sounding music. It gave off a slight air of Little Busters meets Looking at the Half Moon. I can't find any real complaints at this point, other than the Seiyuus used in the opening scene were highly annoying. But the male lead's voice sounds utterly awesome in the later minutes.

I'd recommend this one to anyone who had though about wanting to see it. Hey if you like Lesbians and Incest this may be straight up your ally. The story really is touching though and is a must watch for the 2007 anime year.

Funny how the thread is spelled wrong....(OMG silly Infinity) Anyway, /agree with Porsche.... must watch of 2007....great storyline which mixes in all the issues of today's society into 1 anime series.

Really thought it would turn out to be a Musical anime because of the OP.....but I'm soo totally wrong...either way I transcribed both violin pieces which Nanaka plays during ep 1 and 13.

I agree that it is one of the best of '07. (not my favorite though) The story line was pretty good. Personally, I hated the ending. The time jump was horribly placed and the ending could have been done a lot better. I would have preffered if it ended w/ a wedding between Sana and Nanaka. The end of this anime also leaves a bit undeveloped. Overall though, I liked this anime a lot.

No i meant Nanaka can't play the violin while that drama happened where she lost her memories in the fire until she got them back and....tried to kill herself....etc etc... they couldn't of implemented the school festival band idea to the anime if that was the story.

hmmm... i think she probably could have played it but just didn't want to due to her scary memories. Yeah that would have made a band difficult though. They could have modified the story a bit longer too. Instead of a time jump, they could have continued it a bit after she remembers everything and gets over her suicidal thoughts... Have you seen all of the anime?

note that one episode where they want her to play but she doesn't due to her memories...

Good guess but the anime was based off the Visual Novel, so therefore It could be part of a plot that was in the original visual novel, that was not influenced in the anime version.

if so i would like it because i have a friend that can play violin and i play piano and we want to do a duet with the two but we cant without both parts so if u could get the piano part for me that would be great
