I will transcribe any song for any instrument IF you have a midi. Bear in mind, I need a midi file. I can't do it with any other type of file.

Hum... What do you understand by transcribing, if you need a midi file (which means, not a mp3 file)?

Well, since she's new to transcribing, I'm assuming that she needs the MIDI to convert it into a music sheet using a program, and fixing it up a little... people quoted somewhere as it doesn't count as transcribing, and honestly, it doesn't give you much of a practice anyway. so yeah, she needs MIDI, not Mp3

Ok, I agree with people who think it's not really "transcribing".

why dont you do music you enjoy or want to play then? It'll give you heaps of practice and will be easier since you would know the song.

I would love to, but I can't tell what note it is. No matter how many times I do it. (does this mean I'm tone deaf?)
You know what, I'll just delete this thread. Anyone know how?

4 months ago, i didn't even know how to transcribe, let alone know how to listen to tones, but now after many practice, I am able to do so, all you have to do is just practice x], firstly what I did was trying to transcribe music I know or like to play even though sheets are out for it, that way you get first hand experience. Trust me you just have to keep trying.

Hmph. Fine I'll try if anyone has some songs I can try. But I don't know if I can do them for piano yet.

But why only midi files? Do you use a soft? If you do, it's not a real practice...
If you don't, why don't you talk about mp3 files?

It's still a good service though... there are lots of MIDI files out there that haven't been converted to sheet music. Doing that does takes its own kind of skill (I should know, that's where I started ^^)
Anyway, maybe you want to take this to private messages instead, or the music discussion (http://forums.ichigos.com/forumdisplay.php?f=13) forum? It's a bit off-topic here-- this is xaria's request thread, after all ^^

Not totally off-topic, because its name is "Transcribe Music" (it's xaria's title, so it's xaria's fault (just kidding)).
