Yeah sure I could ask the same question at their official forums but the atmosphere here's much more friendly and... you know. bleh.

Straight into business,

I'm looking for a decent standard (used for light rock/pop) distorted elec guitar setting, without FX being touched.
As you would know, FL Slayer's standard presets (... and honestly to my taste, I don't like all of those amps, but dry sounds dull) are lame, and just fiddling with dials won't get you the desired effect.

So can anyone gimme info on decent wave pattern on Sytrus or a fine tuned slayer preset?

ss of the settings should be enough.

*if you're not sure of the kind I'm talking, think Bump of Chicken

I know if you can't find what you are looking for in FL Studio that you can find a sample on the internet somewhere of the sound you like and then use FL Studio to playback through a MIDI with the sample. I'm not sure of all the details ATM but when I get my desktop hooked up again I'll take a look with you.

yeah.. you can grab samples of the sound and use it (.. don't have to play it back through midi) but then it treats it as a wave pattern not instrument and so it breaks when you go too low or high. plus in the case of guitar sample you can't wail that way x.x
