I was just wondering if anyone knows any evil/sinister/scary songs--especially piano songs. I'd like to compose a song but need some inspiration.

Some movements from The Rite of Spring can be described as uneasy and almost scary. Webern's Funf Satze's fourth movement is pretty eerie. Also, Schoenberg's third movement from 5 Pieces for Orchestra is quite uneasy.

i'm SOOOOOOO into the sinister scary music. when i play piano in my college cell (actually a practice room.lol). people are probably thinking i'm committing suicide or posessed. i don't know but i can tell you...Gothic Hymns are like the best.. SO crazy.

i recommend:

the hunchback of notredame Beginning theme especially the part where frollo is chasing quasi's mom.. that part gets all driving hymn damning like. really hard to play, i've been playing this how many times, hard to hit the notes when your obliged to play that fast (driving mode).

michael nyman (the movie Piano) - "the mood that passes through you" that is like running through a foggy forest i suppose. lol

Michael " " " - "the heart asks for pleasure" quite a hard piece to play because the left and right synchronize in their own way. but it sounds really pretty and mysterious.

Sephiroth's main evil theme (Not One WInged Angel) - Final Fantasy 7

Trace of Blood, Those Chosen by the Planet, The Great Northern Cave, or Who Am I? Those all recur quite often in the game and are associated with Sephiroth.
