Hey Every1... I just got a news from Squaresound Members!

that they're gonna do FFVII Crisis Core piano solo sheet music!!
I have one.

the title of the song is "The Price of Freedom"

Thats great news.
I was wondering when someone was going to try and transcribe it.
The best i could do is get to about a minute into "Burden of Truth" which is the same as "Theme of CRISIS CORE "With Pride"" but it just sounds a bit more calm from the soundtrack.
Its also the same theme that plays during the main menu screen and at the umd prompt.

Also, could you post that sheet in a different format. I don't have finale on the computer i'm currently using and won't be able to look at it on my other computer for a while.

this is a revised and finished version of "the burdened" it's still need a lot of work though so have at it if you want. i've played it on piano already and it sounds oki doki, the only thing is though, is that the articulation isn't there. personally, i change it when i play so... yeah:)

FF Crisis Core is SOOOO AWESOME. The only reason I'm doing piano is because my parents made me too, but the reason I'm still doing it it is because of Final Fantasy. I want to be able to play these sad yet beutiful songs. Any ways thanks for uploading them, this is an awesome site.

If you want to use MUS,u need to have Finale it used to be free but now u have to pay 9.95 for the upgraded notepad version(2009)

I think a few that are worth doing are what I like to call the 'Nibelhiem suite' (Farewell Melody, The Gloomy Mansion, and Prelude to Ruin), and Melody of Resolution.
Although, The Gloomy Mansion you can already get at Squaresound, but Melody of resolution is beautiful for piano and violin.

I've been looking for one of these for a very long time and haven't found anything.

Does anyone know where I can get some sheet music for "An Ancient Hymn Sung by the Water"? Specific instrumentation isn't important, as long as all the voices are there. There should be about three or four voices (I can't really tell from the song, but I think it's probably four).

Otherwise I can't do much. I can't tell what a note is by ear; I just know if its wrong.

Just so you know I started on TWE today and got up to the Sors Imanis. And some of it might be nigh-impossible to actually play, but it's tough to pick which voices to include and how. We can work with it.

All right. Maybe I'll make some personal mods to see if I can make it playable from where you get it. ^_^

Ugh. Sorry it took so long. I've been very busy. I've never arranged something of this magnitude for one instrument before so tell me what you think.

I listened to the MIDI, and it sounded a little strange, but when I checked with the MP3 as backup, it definitely looked right. It might be that the MIDI's tempo is slower than it feels like it should be. 'The World's Enemy' has a faster pace. In regards to accuracy, I'd say that you did very well.

There might be minor issues with note placement (very minor for playability and some problems with where some notes are so that it looks playable for some hands), but it is correct. There are places where there are four very far apart notes in the left hand where you'd have to use both hands, but, as I said, it isn't a major problem.

I know, right? But some of it is definately meant to be dissonant. As fort he speed, I think whenever I export something as a Midi it reverts to 100bpm.

Really? That's weird. Whenever I save sheet music in a MIDI format using Finale it stays at the same tempo in the MIDI (although, if you import the MIDI into Finale it will always say 120, I believe...).

It is always 120 if not slightly faster but in my other home I'm stuck with Sibelius, which I hate.
