Just a quick sketch! Cat-cloak and a bag to go along with it. Though, after drawing it, I remembered that the bag bears a very, very close resemblance to the bag found in Zelda: The Wind Waker. (Oops and god damnit, I like that design!) So when I draw the finished character, the bag will look a little different, as to not be so close looking to the Zelda bag. :heh:

I'll be posting the finished drawing of the cat mage girl on Sunday, so check back here! :3

That does look like the bag from Zelda, but the cloak is awesome!

Cute. And I can see how you have done it. You seem to making the stokes forward and back a bit in a time, so gets spiky. Don’t know if you know what I mean. But most people do that. I think… Instead of just making one long stoke to complete a part of the contour fast

Aye, it does. And thanks! :3

You mean the lineart, right? Yeah, it's very sketchy, for the reason you said. I "stroke my lines." I don't have the motor skills to make long strokes, so all my lineart comes out crappy, hahah. I'm going to learn Illustrator I think, so that my lineart won't look so bad. X3

And I'll practice inking too I guess, so I can do it the normal way too.

Yeah, the line art. I used to do that I remember now xD. Well keep it up. You are pretty good with colour.

Hahah, indeed. :3

Aye, thanks. This picture isn't very good though; I hope the finished one turns out a lot better. Speaking of the finished one, I don't know when it's going to be finished. I was supposed to have the entire week off, but apparently I'm working every day this week now. So fuck. > <

I like the pics, they make me want to get a cat. Your shading on the bag is very good. Cant wait to see the finished picture.

Hahah, I've had a million cats(more like ten probably), and I've loved every one of them. My current cat is Spencer, the softest cat ever. And he only has one eye. (It's cute though! Somehow!) Anyway, that's probably why I wanted to draw this picture. :)

Thanks for the compliment on the bag, and I'm happy to hear you want to see the finished picture. My Open Canvas serial key was actually just sent to me, so this picture will probably get finished sooner than I thought, now that I can actually save my drawings. :3

I've always wanted a cat but my mom's allergic. Once I came home from someones house who had a cat, and she said " I feel like I'm getting an allergic reaction or something."
Glad your Open Canvas program is working.
