I just got this (PS3 version) and I've spent somewhere around 2-3 hours on it so far. I will post more as I've progressed, but I was interested if any of you have played it, and if so, what are your views on it?

I've seen movies on the internet. I think it's funny that in the Netherlands (dunno about other countries) the end of the television commercial only mentions PS3 and not Xbox 360 - while every review and comparison I've seen clearly states the 360 version looks better and runs more smoothly

Anyway, from what I've seen the game seems pretty cool, wish I had a 360 :(

Got it on 360 and what can i say....

Beautiful graphics, VERY nice gameplay, takes ages to finish campaign which brings it to another thing. 360 users love their online gaming, and Assasins Creed doesnt support multiplayer =(. Nor that it works if it does because its a single player made game.... Overall I loved it but other games out there which are longer lasting for online play. But that just means i can trade it in tomorrow x].

But yeah, the physics engine is good, and the way people around you actually interacts as you walk by (similar to Naruto: Rise of the Ninja) but I dont know...
Overall great game, but if I had known how this went, I would most definitely wait for the groundbreaking Fable 2.

Not all Xbox gamers love online play. I know several who don't care about it.

Indeed. So far the game has crashed four times, frozen for 30 seconds about... twice. Bugs = endless. That aside, it's an entertaining game. It's amazingly detailed, but I still think it doesn't quite cut the hype it created.
