I am doing a project in my History class on South Africa, and I'm wondering if anyone can link me to any examples of music from the country (a video, sheet music, etc.) Something that could be possible to be transcribed into a violin and viola duet piece. I just don't know anything about S.A. music.

If that was too vague, just let me know and I'll try to explain better.

This place only does music for games and anime. Why do a project about something when you don't know the basic answers :\

As a wise man would say... "google it."
As I would say... "Ask a south African."

Actually, there are plenty of non game or anime music topics on this site.

I dont really know about that kind of music- try wikipedia? they usually have explanations and links to other sites? And maybe if you look general African rather than just South Africa?

I can tell you that African folk music has influence on Jazz and that African drumming is traditional.
