After reading through the forums many times it is obvious that I am a complete noob and I stand [err sit.] in awe of how much you know about music. So please pretty please with a cherry on top teach me! I want to learn!

So basicly I'm asking you to post tons of facts mainly on
-Chords
-Transcribing
-Composing

Please also include how to study the facts and how to put them into practice.

Nooby musicians everywhere thank you!^.^

You can always google for some tutorials on basic music theory for a start. This can teach you basic chords and etc... As for composing, have you looked through the Composing General Chat yet? Furthermore, it's hard to provide something comprehensive if you don't have a specific question. As for transcribing, you'd need theory to start.

Already tried googling it before I made an account here. Almost everything was *Give us your credit card number and you'll know all this stuff in 2 days!* Of course thats an exageration but they didn't have much free stuff to offer. I have theory down okay just not chords. As for the composing thread...its not very specific.

Alright heres a specific question...How the **** do you learn all this stuff? >.>

my suggestion is to go to a local music store and get a theory book. We could answer some of your questions here, but they would need to be specific. With the broad range of topic that you ask, it would take a while to explain.

you can always mess around in finale notepad. i've never taken a music theory class in my life but you can still make music even tho it's not "written correctly"

 Well, I've learned theory through the following things: messing with Finale Notepad, and checking out theory books at a library. :heh:
