Actually, I've wanted to tell you guys for a long time about this, man...this holds for quite a long time (It took me a lot of courage...afraid of being hated after saying all these). Anyway, I have my own website in Deviantart and I am currently making a manga. (Don't worry, I won't give you my link, I must obey the rules! :heh: ) I just wonder what you guys think when I am making this manga called "Battle School" (It's not like some sort of business...It's for my own inspiration and hobbies) I'll put a summary below these two pictures and tell me what you think about it.

Summary:
A normal boy walking to the school on Sunday without realising that it is the day to rest until a mysterious door take him into the world of fantasies, magic...and school?!

The peace-loving and caring boy, Michael Cortner must know the reality of the world while catching up his studies of magic and missions given. With his ability of an elementalist, he can transform magic and physical elements into weapons to defeat his opponents. With the help of Marina Tifer, a bad-tempered but smart and talented flame mage, she guide Michael to know about the studes of the schools and life.

Michael Cortner not only face the problem of his studies, but also the problem of the other people in need...pain...and suffering. Michael guided the people in need to help them in their life and became friends with them.

There is also a strange story behind Michael himself...who is he...? Why did he use such powerful attack in this world? Struggling his ife, Michael tries to seek the truth.

Finally there is one dilemma...will he ever go back to his world? Or...stuck in this world for the rest of his life...the choice...is his!

If you really want(I mean really...REALLY want to...) to see my comics from my website, well...i don't know what to say unless the admin allow me to do so. It's against rules, right?

(There's a topic like this here?) :neko: <3

Well I was thinking of making my own manga too. The thing is, how do I make sure that my idea isn't stolen (like if I post it on the internet, can someone take it and if it's good enough, get it sold w/out my permission cause I didn't copyright it and is there a way for me to copyright it (or protect it)?) I got an idea for one but that's the reason why I won't get into it here. (only X knows about it)

edit: oops. sorry. ._. didn't read all of it. sounds interesting though.

Divine Shadow, your work is copyrighted automatically. Anything you create is yours by default and is protected by copyright laws.

Best way to ensure protection is to join a group like the OFP

Most people like to start off making yonkoma~ or 4 panel comics usually of a comedic nature.

For me, just put watermark or put a logo with your web address and your name and that's all! =) And that will prove that it's your work.

Those can be edited out though, and people can just stick their own watermarks and such over them. I don't think it'll be a huge deal anyway. Most people are pretty honest.

And if you do your sketches on paper before bringing them to the computer, that's great evidence right there too.

I see.... thanks guys. ^^ (starts to work on it more) I always wanted to make it but I was just worried some asshole would come and try to take it and go on like it's their own (since I didn't know how to copyright properly) so I stopped for a bit but I'll work on it again. I just need to work on some parts for the storyline. (trying to be original)
