Okay, I decided to make a new thread about this so the anime will get some recognition here. I suppose no more than 5-8 members here have seen it, but I think it's good. Nothing mind blowing, but it's good. Basically it's about a droid (a robot) that was created to serves the humans against alien attacks. This droid looks identical to humans, and after the war was over, they let her (the droid...) go and have a free life for the remaining ~380 days before it will be terminated. She decided to search for a job as a maid, and there we go. The thing I like about this anime is that they managed to create a nice mixture of humour and serious stuff. I won't go into details, but I recomend it. :)

What can I say about this anime? Hmm, well I love the opening song. And I think Mahoro is one of the prettiest anime characters out there. She's also got a beautiful heart, and I like that. Too much fanservice though.

I think the second season was better than the first (more characters and plot development), but the ending was a bit abrupt for me.

The fanservice totally ruined the whole idea behind the anime.

It's licensed, I believe the first season is 12 eps + 13th recap ep.

The manga was pretty cute, but you're right, fanservice doesn't fit it. >.> Then again, I'm a girl so I probably shouldn't talk... ^^;; I think it's very sweet and a little sad, and cute... enough for a het manga. *coughs*

Anyway, the manga is licensed also (by Tokyopop I thinks) and there's 2 volumes out.

I like it also because it's so fun to watch. What I mean is, I never yawn or something when I watch this anime, I'm fully concentrated on it, even if there's nothing major going. Don't know why, it's just..good.

I skipped through large portions of it since it was too boring *yawn*
