I know that this probably won't work, but, I was wondering if anyone could help me with getting Bassoon solos from the game series Final Fantasy, animes: Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, or Pokemon. I know I am not being very specific and I'm sorry, but I was wondering if anyone, ANYONE could help me...and if anyone could help me, can we PM and talk about my range and stuff???

Hey, I'm an oboist and I'd love to help you, though I not sure how helpful I'd actually be...

I've done a double reed trio (bassoon, oboe, E.H.) for my friends and me, from a final fantasy song previously. But I'm not sure if this qualifies me for actually being able to help with solos.

Anway, if you do want my help, reply to this or pm or something.

I don't have anything from those things, but i have Battle For The Future for Bassoon Solo, or Duet which would sound better.

I transcribe for all band instruments, mostly because I learned how to transpose from one instrument to another while I played a flute in a Jazz band... (yeah, not the wisest choice, I can tell you that.)

I've learned that the flute, piano, oboe, and violin, as well as certain bass instruments like the cello are in the same key: the C major key.

You said you wanted a Pokemon song transcribed, right? I myself are a fan of Pokemon - mostly the first two seasons - and I also played or listened to music from most of the games.

If you'd like me to do any of the theme songs, character themes, or any of the music from the Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness series, please let me know, and I'll do my best.

The bassoon is in the bass clef of the C major key, right? Just like the trombone or the violin.

If you want, you can transpose a piece of music that you find on the internet for the piano and either play the melody part transposed into the bass clef, or play the bass clef part of the piano piece. Anything in the key of C can be easily played by the bassoon.
