Arekara from FMP Fumoffo, which i'm trying to transcribe in my spare time.

I'd opt for Grandpa's violin... Unless you were referring to only piano pieces... If that's the case, I'd have to recommend the Overworld Theme from FFVII. (It's not TOO hard to find a good transcription of it...)

Every Heart is a very pretty song that a Japanese artist sings. Her name is, BoA, of course! ^_^ I prefer the English version, though. Who else likes Every Heart? PM me! :P

I'd suggest you should try these pieces, they're really peaceful, depending on your emotions that is, ehehe. what i mean is that most of the songs listed above can be sad or peaceful, depending on your feelings. But Memory of mother is considered to be peaceful. by the way have any one seen that anime? ("Sugar fairy")

Ailes Grises from the Haibane Renmei OST and pretty much any other song from haibane renmei...

Hmm How about Zanarkand from FFX? I find it peaceful... either that or Melodies of Life from FFIX...or maybe even Times Scar from Chrono Cross I really like that one XD though I don't know if you find it very peaceful, the begining is I suppose.

A really pretty song is 'Space Lion' from Cowboy Bebop. Its got more of a jazz/ballad feel though.

I'm slow at almost everything. And I hate that. I can't read the notes most of the time... Well... I didn't learn paino yet... But at school I could learn how to play flute... I could read the notes faster when it says if that note is "do" or "re"... But I might be able to read some of the very simple ones... But I still need a lot of help. :(
