Anyone got Days of Ruin? or known here in European countries as Dark Conflict.
It's the latest advance wars out, but the story is incredibly short with no hard mode it bored me to death =(
But the quality of the story was worth it so w/e....
It has online Wi-Fi Play so it's really worth buying, plus new vehicles x]

first, i love u all because u play advance wars. second, im not sure i should get days of ruin because u heard they took the CO powers out. do u think it's better than dual strike?

P.S. does any one know how to put an icon on in the top left corner?

No, CO power is still in the game, but it has been dramatically nerfed, or powered down dramatically so it does not turn the tide of battles anymore. This is due to the new online play, to make every officer as fair as possible each with weaknesses and strength.

I'd buy it just because of the depth of the storyline, and the hard metal techno musik x]

I like Dual Strike, haven't played Dark Conflict yet.

Yeah, I liked Dual Strike, but Dark Conflict really disappointed me anyhow...

Main reason being that, the Campaign mode is toooooo short. I mean there isn't even a hard mode. (It was pathetically easy for veteran players who played previous games) But they put a lot of story and depth so I don't mind.
But does 26(?) campaign levels satisfy you?

They focused too much on the multiplayer this time, I mean...100+ maps? come on. But I bet online would be good, haven't tried or got DS online play.

Anyhow I might transcribe some music here or there....except many people would be expecting it for piano, so yeah.... I really love Andy's Theme, and Jake's Theme from Dual Strike x] and the new protagonist in Dark Conflict too who I realized I don't know his name... But his theme is really heavy game techno music.

Anyone played Dark Conflict besides me? What do you think?

Googling away
If you don't arrange it for piano it'd be fine cause someone else could just arrange it for piano?

Edit.

When you search advance wars sheet music...this thread pops up as number 3 xD
I can only find Eagle's theme...Eagle's my favorite CO to use xD

Hmm, i like all the indirect units, but that mostly applied to AW 1 and 2, never tried DS or the newest one out yet...

For the dark conflict version, is the game script different (I know the names were changed but how radical was it changed)? For example in the game does Lily(Penny) have a stuff toy called Mr. Bear?

Only if you want to know the story behind it.
The GBA versions are only downgraded versions of the new Dual Strike.
I'd say the story and difficulties of the previous versions are much harder, and thus more challenging.

are there any advance wars other than the ones for the gba and DS?

yes on the nes and snes, but they are not called advance wars. I think they are called famicon wars or some thing like that.
