Anyway here is a few I Recommend:

Blassreiter - A really cool stylized CG fighting anime which appeals to me. I suggest you watcha trailer before watching.

Itazura na Kiss - Really nice love story, I read the manga which was first published in 1991, I'm amazed it's actually now an anime after sooo long.

Soul Eater - well Bleach + Zombie Loan = Soul Eater, this anime is also made by the same people who made Zombie Loan, so i guess it's worth watching.

I want to hear your recommendations for the anime this spring! Anything you watch from the 1st ep and their appeal.

Yeah, it's pretty cool how GONZO is doing that. It makes sense, really. Anime are supposed to be shown on TV. We don't get much tv anime out of Japan. I doubt OVAs sell better than normal series. I'm glad GONZO picked up on that. =D

I'm going to like (love) CG2 and the Gurren Lagann movie. :3

After watching episode 1, and giving 2 a chance, I don't recommend Special A.
The jokes gets old... (yeah used same jokes as episode 1...)
And from what I'm seeing, I doubt there will be any character development at all.
The "Pro Wrestling" theme just ruins it... It's nothing like it at all....to me it's just lame... Dropped watching it >.>......

Picking up ToLoveRU instead....hopefully it's better =]

Wagaya no Oinari-sama seems interesting, but I can't really recommend it until I see more of the anime.

yeah. currently loving Code Geass R2. I laughed when I heard about the leak for ep. 3 last tuesday. Rollo seems like an interesting character his geass is the ability to stop time!

Kanokon (not for little kids) is pretty entertaining
Nabari no Ou reminded me too much of Naruto but I might come back later (it's a lot better than Naruto though)
Interested in Kamen no Maid guy.
Allison to Lillia seems interesting but I've only seen the first ep.


Most of the new animes that I have seen are pretty dissapointing however.
Can't wait for Rebuild of Eva 1 (Japanese vers. on disk sometime this week!) and 2 Go eva 6!!!!! from the moon!!!! Apparantley there will also be a new character (possibly pilot of eva 6???)

Very predictable plot and the story telling is so generalised, no real chance for any character depth or development. Looks more like a game then an anime, might be trying to copy .Hack//Sign in that respect.

Now Soul Eater is a must watch for this year, don't just presume it's a copy of bleach. Reminds me a bit of Tim Burton's Nightmare before christmas but that might be because of the pumpkins. Either way there are some serious fight scenes and the characters are great, though not to be tqken too seriously, lot of scope to them, can see this series having a good few seasons to it.

I also highly recommend watching the new Evangelion movie You Are [Not] Alone. It's pretty awesome and I thought that they did a good job with the graphics. Can't wait for the second one.

Bah, anyone watched Strike Witches or whatever you call it? It intrigued me because 100% of the reviews I've come across have been negative (I mean c'mon, you'd even find a few people who enjoyed the 100 or so filler episodes in Naruto). Anyways, I went to check out how bad the series, downloaded an episode, watched the opening, and deleted it ...

It lived up to my expectations =)

Wow, I'm watching fall's anime list, and it's looking hilarious...
Some that stood out to me:

Stitch - Yes, from LILO AND STITCH... People are still wondering if this is some kind of joke... The promotional art looked almost identical to Disney's in my opinion.

Toradora! - Can you get a better voice cast? And also, it's another JC staff production featuring a tsundere loli lead. Sound familiar?

Bihada Ichizoku - A show about cosmetics apparently...

I'll probably be checking them out to see how odd they are.

And not to mention 2 that EVERYONE must watch =)
