Hey everyone, I just feel like spreading my joy! I was accepted into university. I'm officially a music student! This is really the coolest feeling I've ever had, all of the fighting with my parents paid off. I just felt like posting this to spread my excessive amount of joy! :lol:

im going to have to quit sooner or later.... they're using the final years of school as an excuse for me to quit music even though i dont want to! But!! who knows!

I wish I could get into a music uni after upper secondary school (which means I can't be a student of the local music school), but I'm afraid it's impossible for me, since I have to move and I don't have enough money to live in any bigger city than the one I'm living in. Not even fighting my parents would help me on this one, since we are poor. I could try to get my biological father to give me money, but since he haven't met me since i was four I doubt it...

I don't mean any offense to anyone, but I hate selfish parents like that. <_< If a parent sees their kid likes something such as music, they shouldn't feed their kids BS reasons to quit this stuff. You really should tell your parents too bad if they want you to quit, because it really is selfish of a parent to expect their kid to quit something like that just because they say so.

LOL! Hmmm... i wonder how many parents out there are like my parents but yeah....
well, my parent sees music as nothing beneficial in your life and that its a waste of time :(
my parents are kinda weird actually, at first they forced me to learn music and then now they're trying to stop me from learning music! LOL!
For the couple of fast years... i had to work hard to get good grades for music and that meant that i could learn for another year... so you can tell how anxious i was when i was doing my exams... LOL!
