Cowboy Bebop is probably one of the best animes to ever reach Adult Swim on cartoon network. There's also a few more things about it that's different from other animes. The dub is one of them. Often, the dub on anime sucks...but Cowboy Bebop's Dub is surprisingly good. Great, even. The other thing: The music. It has a jazz feel to it, which is different from the majority of animes.

Sooo..I thought I'd make a thread for everyone to discuss this wonderful anime. And the ending..poor Spike. Oh, and odd things you found. Anyone see the ps1 in the last episode?

-nodnod- I cried during The Real Folk Blues part II. It was so depressing. ;_;

-sigh- Other than that. Music rocks. Especially Tank! and Rain.

Favorite episode? Pierrot le Fou. Extremely creepy, yet extremely awesome at the same time.

I love the music. Yoko Kanno rocks.

The Real Folk Blues II, great episode. The fight scene was awesome. I thought Spike had him for sure.

I saw the PS1 in the indian guy's place! :D

The music is the best. I think that this is Yoko's best work.

Ed is the best char. I was a little confused on her gender for quite some time. I finally figured it out in 'Hard Luck Women' That episode is so neat. :D

Yeah, Ed's gender evaded me for a while, too. The ending was so sad...but at least it was more realistic than some animes I've seen. No one could be as injured as he was and still live. But still..poor Spike..

Awesome series. Great art. Great music. Great plot.
Yoko Kanno must be pure magic because she has written so much music for anime that it's nearly unfathomable. She was taking a huge risk when she was writing jazz music for Bebop because jazz had never been used in an anime so much before but since she's pretty much god, it all worked.

Real Folk Blues II had to be the most sad! I was so close to hugging the TV and telling it 'It'll be ok!' XD

You can't get the full experience till you see the anime. It comes on Adult Swim (saturdays) on Cartoon Network. It has for a long time.

I finally see the connection with the cat story that Spike told Jet. I got the comparison with Julia and the white cat, but I didn't get the other part. I got it now. ^_^

Yeah..it was a sorta weird/sad story. I'd never heard it before, though. I wonder if the people who did the anime made it up or if it's a real story.

But Spike just HAD to go and get himself killed, didn't he?! It was so sad, and then Blue started playing and I was crying, not hard, but crying.

The music is just amazing. Yoko Kanno is a genius, my favorite composer of all time. CB is probably my favorite anime. Big thx to Cartoon Network for showing it, and releasing Yoko unto my soul.

It says spoilers ahoy in the title. Theres no need for spoiler tags.

I think spoiler tags should be used nonetheless.

Just finished watching it (only i missed episodes 19,20,21,22 <_< - have to watch them later)...

Great, no doubt about. The music is really good. I found episodes with Ed to be the most hilarious: you kinda relax after some serious stuff from Jet and Spike. I found "Hard Luck Women" to be the saddest episode, since they all break up and go seperate ways... you can feel the end coming nearer and nearer

I like it, but i really love the music, and that is what makes it a good anime. if it had crap music, you'd find its actually not that interesting
