in this thread I just want to know if there are more magic the gathering players out there and if there are to tell about there decks they made

mine is a white/artifact
it is made for health and protection to others

It's a card game. I think it was really popular a couple of years ago, in Sweden that is.

well the last and only popular card game that appeared over here was pokemon and that was likke 5 years ago..............as for magic the gatherine its just seen as a geek game that has nothing special about it

I have quite a large deck somewhere in my room, havent played it in years

heh I remember the days when I used to sit around a table and play for hours, was a fun game, still have most of my card, even entered in a few local tournaments with them, and did quite good

Most of my friends played it all the time when I was younger (around 12) and I was annoyed of the game because I didn't like it, but they played it all day long. X_X Looking at it now, the concept is pretty good.

well yeah it is old but it has been out for about 12 years and they are still making them

i have a deck reday to go, mostly fire based with a few swamp mixxed in,

i started collection in france, introduced to it by some older friends, when we saw some british decks reduced....damn them

well all I have is a artifact deck with white protection in it :rolleyes:

ive got one called chaos confetie. it can only be uswed once. you can tear it up into peices and everycard it lands on must be removed from play.

well I just made a suicide deck made to kill all and me at the same time

mind you mine is just a beginers deck

well the hardest card to get is the BFM (big fury monster)

but I want to get it even if it costs 19 black mana well I think it takes that much

I already have a kavu deck bladesliver1234 out of all these people you should know. That my dad took my deck and never gave it back

I have to admit that this game is pretty cool in some way or another

last year was the worse year ever
practically EVERYONE in our school is playing this card game

Well, I dont really play as much as I used to, I really just collect for the beauty factor. The art on the cards is great. And its fun to sell paper for alot of money :)

BTW, I use a white-angel deck. But if I feel in a cheep mood, I will use a red-instant deck.

mine is a white samurai deck that has lots of add ons to it. I eventually turned it to a jr cleric/artifact killer/unblockable/creature killer deck.all in one.

Unblockable...I hate those decks!!! I think Sliver decks are the best though, but they are expensive and hard to get..

I was interested in Magic the Gathering. Was.

Once I was in those yugioh places where you play tgc's, and saw one tabled FILLED with magic the gathering cards, and these 2 people occupied the whole table, dueling each other. I was like WOAH doesnt that like boggle your mind or something? That was when I lost interest in magic. >.>

Lol, those are the kind of moments that drive me to love it more. I love just looking at the prudy art, just so nice. And then theres those who will pay 100 dollars for 1 card, crazt :)

I just looked through my rare/uncommon folder, and I find out theres over a hundred cards in it. I go and try to find out how much my folder is worth and I find out its near a thousand dollars... Wow.

Umum, when you get shiny new cards and have to share them out and build a deck - there's a lot of us learning how to play so we got a Champions of Kamigawa booster box between the 9 of us. I have a funky fire and water deck which I have no idea how to use properly XD

Then I have my burning bush deck. 1 is a quick hit gimme back points deck.
The other is a savem deck where the more cards in your hand the more your opponent is screwed. Its great.

I have a box full of cards too, lots of uncommons and 4th edition cards. I was into it like '94-'97 so most of my cards are from that era and a few newer booster packs I filched off of old friends. I would also want to sell if someone wants to put them in a good home, where they'll get used.

Booster box?! Those cost like 100 USD (not that I havent spent more on the cards I do have...). Anyways, go to the Wizards of the Coast site for some info and 3 player guides depending on your skill level, and then www.cardkingdom.com to find out how much your cards are worth (DO IT! I sold my first rare cards for dollars apeice only to find out they are worth about 20 UDS all together..)

I just swiped my brothers Phage card and a bunch of other uber rare stuff. I feel so good now (he doesnt even care, he doesnt like Magic anymore *obbsessed*).

Im thinking of making a new deck because I dissasembled my other one. Artifact, Red and Black sound good?...

artifacts have good and bad points... very limited and in a 60 card deck they dont help unless you have alot of them. I had two and they only got used about twice. give me an extra heavy duty creature anyday.
Black decks are amazing, if built well. they majic can be desitanting.

My main idea was to load my deck with Myrs so I can get fast Mana and on the way I can sacrafice them for life, damage, strength and defence AND bring them from the dead... A lot...
