Has any one heard / seen this manga? And also what do you think of it.

saw, was kinda ok, didn't get into it taht much

I read the manga and it's really funny to read. XD Poor Tsukune Aono. He has like the worst luck being sent to live in a school for monsters because his dad picked up a flyer from a dead priest passing by and didn't even notice he was actually dead. Not to mention all the girls who like him are monsters like a dizzy vampire w/ a double persona, a flirtatious succubus who's trying to make him her love slave or a gothic snow woman who seems a bit off and likes to stalk him and etc. :3 and everyday someone is always trying to kill him. Whether it's by the students, teachers or any future love interests, it's always something. XD This is better than the anime to me (which went into another direction by making the show kinda cute and removed most of the blood and gore from the story) and is one of my favorite mangas to date. (current favorite is Bitter Virgin)

I did find the concept fun, but I disliked the implementation of the story (how many chu's does it take to shrivel up a human?). I greatly disliked how they put in fanservice for the hell of it.

Isn't fanservice ususally "for the hell of it"?

would this be a correct way to simplify this manga? A cartoony version of a castlevania boss rush mode with ecchi stuff in it. the reason I ask is because my friend asked me what the basic idea is behind it.

I liked it, but I found that it was more geared toward males than females.
The content wasn't something that I want to watch. the overall play was fairly decent.

has any one seen the new season to this anime or nah?

It's more of the same, with a slightly odd yet sexy opening?

I really don't like season 2 much. I respect that they are trying to go in a somewhat different direction from the manga, but what's the point of puting all the fanservice in it if they're just going to censor it ( the fanservice is really starting to get old)? The censorship is no where near as bad as the tv version of kodomo no jikan ,but it's annoying as hell. I really like the opening though ^_^.
