I listened to this music and i got that butterfly in your stomach feeling, some of my friends think it's that beautiful aswell, even the knuckleheads, does anyone else think so?

Sad Fate (http://gh.ffshrine.org/song/269/70)
Sad Fate (Youtube) 3:28 - 5:24 (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-AzvS8O5nvw)

It's a redo of Garden of Memories with Harp, Violin and some Voice.

Also, post your music you think is beautiful, the kind that just makes you stare at your screen brainwashed by the sound of it.

Ah I know far too many... but I've always thought Ashitaka to San from Princess Mononoke is pretty awe-inspiring.

Being the anime fan that I am....

I Say Yes (wedding verision) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zctiRQWPaj0) - Zero no Tsukaima. The sadness is especially evident when gets to around 1:21.
Barasuishou (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhB-lAZqZvU) - Rozen Maiden
Sadness and Sorrow (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umqlDFeFknE) - Naruto
Kodoku na Junrei (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nawt5JCllEo) - Fate/Stay Night
Blue Sky, from Air TV; but I can't find a link to that song =(

And countless more from various animes.

You wouldn't happen to have Barasuishou, being the big transcriber you are and all the things i've seen you do. It sounds great.

I don't recommend to post any mp3 of any song/piece in a forum. That would be illegal unless the copyrights expired.

Edit: Youtube is legal. ;p

Hmm, no, I've only done a few Rozen Maiden 1 OST pieces, while Bara is in second season's OST. But once I get back onto that project this is probably the first song I'll transcribe... It's fairly easy too from what I can tell.

Ive decided Rachmaninoff's 18th variation on a theme by Paganini is rather 'heart-stopping' too =] I know its not anime or anything, but it is really beautiful.

Lacrimosa by Mozart I believe is truly beautiful.
Edit: Here is a youtube link, I don't feel like making it fancy.

Princess Mononoke soundtrack remains my toptop favourite.

Currently trying to learn 'The heart asks pleasure first' by Michael Nyman. It's the most touching thing I've heard since Mononoke hime. But it's hard to play it =( , and even harder when your piano is like nearly junk

Great minds think alike or what? I love the Micheal Nyman songs and spent months learning that piece when was younger. Keep going, its worth it ^^

I love Heaven's Light by Steven Reineke.. It's gorgeous. Our high school's band played it for a Winter Concert about... 3 years ago, I believe. ( I was in 6th grade at the time, so I didn't get to play it then. =( ) It was around the time when one of my rabbits died, and it really touched me personally because it reminded me of him. But it's a beautiful piece in general.

This isn't the best quality video, but it'll have to do.

Luckly, my sister gave me her sheet music for this song (she was in band at the time) so once I can get a good enough version, I'll try recording myself playing it. I love it so much.

Ahh Steven Reineke... I really liked some of his melodies. Two bands I was in played his 'Fate of the Gods' and 'Sedona', both very interesting pieces.

That's cool, I'll have to look those songs up. ^_^ I believe I've heard of those titles, but I haven't actually heard them yet.

Oh, um, I really like "To Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X. Another good one is "Sad Love Story" and "Even After Ten Years"
