I found this forum trying to find out if a song I was transcribing had already been done or not. "Hey cool, anime video games and music all in one spot" and so I decided to join.

Here's a tiny piece I arranged that a friend of mine wrote. Hope you enjoy it =o

Edit: Eh, guess I'll give some background on the piece since its so tiny. The original that my friend wrote was all bubbly and happy and bleh, so I pointed out that we had opposite taste in piano music. Then I went and turned her piece into a sad version(which she refuses to play for me >_>)

sounds nice. But some of the left hand chords are far too wide for most people. Namely, the two chords on beats 3 and 4 of measure 4 ranging from middle C to the A, an octave and two notes down. Many pianists, such as my former self, can reach a one octave easily. but I'm not sure about the extra two notes required for those two chords.

I actually went through and changed the chords that were larger than one octave, guess I missed those two. You have to admit they sound pretty cool the way they are though. I'll just put the low A up an octave and remove the low G on the next chord. Thanks for pointing that out.

Avoid close spacing of bass harmonies; it gives it a "dragging" effect (which, in my opinion, isn't appropriate in this case). The two chords that Drag0ncl0ud mentioned and the first one of meas. 6 are too far for one to reach. In meas. 7, there's no reason to notate an A#. Just change it to a Bb. With the harmonies, try to add some movement to the song in order to make it more interesting.
