I'm actually working on transcribing another D.N.Angel piece right now called Caged Bird and Michishirube is up next on the list. I'm doing them for the viola, but I'll convert them to Cello after I finish them.

Yea I would have to say that Alone from Full Metal Alchemist is pretty sad and even "ReMIniscence" From the first Fire Emblem , its both beautiful but kind of sad. Not the saddest song out there though.

I love the piece "Reminiscence", from the game Suikoden II. There're a couple of versions though, and for some reason Youtube doesn't have my version, so here it is!

The piece is about the loss of a childhood friend (loss in the sense that the main character was betrayed by his friend).

'Grief and Sorrow'/'Hokage's funeral' (Ai to Shuu is a different version of this song, it's pretty sad as well.) from Naruto. (It's not the same as 'Sadness and Sorrow', which is definietly the saddest).

Then there's 'Alone', 'Loneliness' and Gaara's Childhood. (All from Naruto. :D)
