Hey guys. I'm having a hard time looking for the piano version of this song. The title of the song is Shizuku and it's from Great Teacher Onizuka. If someone is able to transcribe this song on piano that would be great. Here's the piano version i was able to find on youtube. http://youtube.com/watch?v=yntRfgnjbLI&feature=related

It's a good song and I love it too! :) I think it would be worth transcribing! I will say up front though that I try to capture the tone of the original song when I transcribe. The YouTube version you've provided isn't bad, but the original song is faster and uses acoustic guitars for a lot of its chords. My transcriptions aren't easy, but I believe they are wonderfully accurate and always follow the original song to the beat (so you can play along with the original song).

Two of my other transcriptions are on this site: "Romance: Heartbeats on a Falling Star Night" from Sailor Moon, and "Little Wing" from Scrapped Princess. Check these out for an idea of my style. I might contribute my transcriptions of "Rashiku Ikimasho" and "Moon Revenge" from Sailor Moon at some point as well.

I posted a more lengthy response earlier today, but it doesn't seem to be going through the system. I'll do the transcription. "Shizuku" is a great song and it'll be a neat challenge to do a song with so many string instruments.

My other transcriptions are "Little Wing" from Scrapped Princess and "Romance: Heartbeats on a Falling Star Night" from Sailor Moon, if you want to get an idea of what it'll be like. It'll take a couple of weeks because I'm a busy person, but it is being produced. :)

This song is still going to be done. This last semester of college has been absolutely crazy, and I'm searching for a job on top of that. However, Thanksgiving break and graduation are fast approaching. I feel safe to say that it'll be done by the end of the year. Thank you for your patience!

The song is transcribed. All that's left is a little clean-up on the sheet music and I'll get it posted. Thank you all for your patience. I hope the result was worth the wait!

To tide you over until I polish the actual sheet music, here's the MIDI of the transcription:

Here's the music! As usual, the transcription is a measure-by-measure conversion so you can use it to play along with the original song. Verses 1 and 2 were combined to reduce the number of pages, but the differences between the two were negligible.

The difficulty is a little high; if you absolutely need a simple version, I can do a second one. I generally avoid that, though, because most sites like Ichigo's generally stick to one transcription per song. Have fun!!!
