good stuff, Escaflowne

I've heard lots of compliments on it, but not what its about. Mind a brief description?

It's about a gigantic robot called Escaflowne. That's what I know about it. :mellow:

It's somesort of medieval/ fantasy mecha anime, quite a decent story, I can't help it but always point out how big the noses of the characters are though.

Pretty good ending for this anime

Escaflowne is one of my fav series

Escaflowne is a show about guimelfs (robots) and the diplomatic wars between nations of this fantasy world (called gaia), a romance between the 3 main charaters, and the legend of an angelic race (called the draconians) that lived in atlantis (on gaia).

It's a very good anime, though the ending left me a little too open, like it was rushed.

Escaflowne's a classic, I love it.

It's about a girl named Hitomi, who seems to be quite clairvoyant. Van Fanel, the king of Fanelia, stumbles upon Earth in one of his dragon-slaying quests. And Hitomi unintentionally comes back with him to Gaia, a separate planet, and has been trying to find her way back ever since.

lol His psychopathy is very entertaining, and I liked him for that. XD

The series really did nothing for me... The movie had good music and Dilandau and Allen *huggle* but otherwise the movie was a little boring for me.

yep escaflowne is one the best anime and movie eva~! in the movie at the end.... did van and hitomi fall in love.......?

I saw a couple episodes IT was a good anime the way they controlled the robots was cool and when they put adragon heart in the robot to activate it wat ever happened to escafowne :think:

I enjoyed the Movie more, and as for Van + Hitomi, i know in the movie they did, but im not sure about the series, i need to finish it...lol

The series has a better story, but the movie's animation is amazing. I don't like the idea of Fulken(?) being the main bad guy though. Oh, and the movie soundtrack is really good too.
