:shifty: Not sure if this belongs here or in general discussion so...

So I actually sit with a bunch of fangirls during lunch...Kill me now. They don't pay attention to the stories or themes or anything. They just stare at the male characters and look up some yaoi. It scares me....Anywho the best way to get some responses is to ask a question so

What are your experiences with fangirls?
Is there any way to change them so they actually watch the anime instead of just staring and etc etc.?

Your a selfish person for wanting to change them. If that is what they enjoy the anime for then so be it. But that's just my oppinion.
Who's next? =3

I agree with HanTony. Whatever floats people's boats...
Not everyone has to think deeply about the story, sometimes people connect more to the characters than the story.

Fangirls should be burnt in big fires along with their yaoi.

That'd be fine if it was the personality and not the artwork.. :(

Die yaoi! Let them watch a anime with good plot but little handsome guys... Cowboy bebop?

Fangirls! :torch:

Can't stand them, my friends and I have to hide the fact that we like anime because we'd be lumped in with those people.

I've had several experiences with fangirls/wapanese, from extreme cases to mild ones. The mild ones aren't bad though.

Never had a fanboy experience though...thankfully :3

Hmm, I don't see all that many fanboys; not too many fangirls either, all the Yugioh yaoi stuff has to be coming from somewhere...

If people don't appreciate a good story or plot depth, then there's really nothing you can do to convince them otherwise...

I'm not homosexual or anything, but I occasionally enjoy some Yaoi mangas, especially "Only The Ring Finger Knows" which is at my school library, has the best storyline a love romantic story could have. Yaoi isn't that bad once you get to read at least 1 good one, and not reject it all the way.

(I have a feeling all the guys gonna back away from me now =.=)

I never met a fangirl...

...then I went to College/University...

Now I know, they are very scary people.

Robots and nurses... that defines anime perfectly! =D

And occasionally you even have both, like robotic nurses! Sorta like in Chobits =)

To be honest, I've never really met a fan girl/fan guy.
I enjoy anime, and stuff, but I suppose it's what everyone likes and should just go along with it ha:heh:
