so i made this song
its not really appropriate for ichigos, not being a piano piece.
its an electronic song made using fl studio, im not finished.
im just really curious what people think of it so far.

Luckily, you do have someone who is into EDM here. ;) I think when your beat comes in you need to take off that phaser with your nice sounding lead. I appreciate your lead (how you made it) and maybe a little phaser (even though in a Hardstyle and Hardcore fan, myself.. so NO phaser on main melodies is my game in that case). It sounds nice-- I like the lighter section too.. you have things come in and out pretty nice.. more of a harder kick? Try using a few kicks (layering) and playing with that a bit to get a nice "deep bass" sound.

I'd LOVE to hear more!

All is going well with the piece/track, not song. I think the track is having a good develop. The only comment I have to do about it, is that at 1:05 it don't sounds so clean with the distortion of some synth you left or put there. I would think of balance it there or to take out the distortion if don't have a huge effect; but if you want it like that, then leave it like that.

Pretty cool song, but I agree with Nyu. Tone down the distortion at 1:05-1:30. It really does ruin the song a bit. :( Other than that, nice work. I recommend adding a fading out ending to make it sound a little better. :heh:

I don't know if it's my speakers but it sounds like your inputs (or base sound levels for each "instrument") is really high. In other words, there's too much sound volume and it's overpowering my speakers. It can be loud, but overpowering (over modulation?) the speakers is BAD even if you're in a rave and you can't feel your brain. Volume comes from the DJ... not from the initial song.

When I put my media player on "scope" mode it's just the extreme on each end.... way too frakking loud. You can put the sound level for each fader down 10% and it'll be great. I just really hate overpowering my speakers.


Also, I agrew with the distortion comments @ 01:05.

What? The distortion that kicks in at 1:05 (-something) is perfect!! I also have really good quality headphones (and a mic, yay) and I must say it sounds great. The leveling sounds fine to me. It's either your players, your speakers or just that you're too used to a clean sound. This isn't lounge at all, okay people? This is EDM which is true right from the tempo and the consistency of it all. The leads and effects make that statement true. Trust me, you have NO IDEA what distortion is once you get into some dirty hard- stuff.

You're doing great; I wish I had more time and what not to create some great beats. I like your use of themes! I've been a fan of techno since I was in 3rd grade, which was quite a few years ago (I'm in 11th now). It all started with Daft Punk, the I got into some random dance music and such, and now I'm hooked on Hardstyle and Hardcore. I wish the best for your beats =)

EDIT : Oh, but still turn down the frequency on that phaser with that phat lead XD. I like the phaser, but it's a liiiittle too much when it cuts the low freq.
