This is game is pretty awesome. Made by the same people that made Half-Life and Half-Life 2, the graphics are superb and the story is pretty intense. You're basically one of the four survivors that's trying to fight your way through cities, tunnels, and farms. The cool thing about this game is that you can play the campaign in either by yourself or co-op with three other people in a multiplayer mode.

Played it and traded it in. I found World at War's Zombie mode is basically the same thing but better =/....

Left 4 Dead just lacks something....I can't tell what.......
Variety would be the word....

BUT for people into shoot'em up games, this is definitely good.

I've yet to play it, even though I've had it since the demo came out. But the compy that was made for me isn't in my possession yet so haven't had a chance to play it. Can't wait though! Still hope I don't get too scared though XD

^ Oh you're in for a treat then. Some scenes freak you out. Especially when a horde comes running out to you out of nowhere.

Lol played it today, and it was nowhere near as scary as I thought it'd be. Not ever when there were hordes, the boomers, the witch.... Maybe because I wasn't playing alone, but I was freaked more by RE4 XD

However, I had a lot of fun with this game, with more hours of awesome zombie killing to come :D

My boyfriend and his roommates all just got this game =) It looks really fun, and scary in the way the zombies attack. It doesn't have the same creepy ambiance as Resident Evil and other games, but when those huge zombie guys start running at you, that's scary! Haha. It seems like a really fun group game. I like that they kept it pretty simple, with just the four preset characters and the limited zombie types. It seems like they just really focused on making it fun and making it look good, without being too complex. My boyfriend and his friends all talk on Ventrillo while they play, and it seems fun =) Another great game from Valve!

It's fun... except when you're almost to the safe room, and the random enemy generator puts a witch in front of the door.

Lol yeah, we snuck past one witch to find another sitting on top of the ammo. That was annoying.

And either I'm toughening up or something (I think not), but I really don't find L4D all that scary XD

I have it and I enjoy it. It's especially fun when you're playing with three other friends (even better if you know them in real life).

I have yet to get past the 5th level of the first campaign on expert. I'm only playing on expert so the game "lasts longer" so to speak :D

I don't like playing in pubs though, there are lots of idiots in there; they want to be a "hero" but fail at it, since this is a heavier co-op based game.
