My Family and Friends inspire me. This Site has also made me want to get back on the roll with the Violin :) Sometimes just listening to music helps others (or so I've heard) but it doesn't help me much. I was just wondering: What inspires you: With your dreams, or anything else? What type of dreams or Goals do you have? I think that these are important, so I wanted to start a discussion about it :)

A lot of things inspire me, but the thing that does it the most would have to be seeing others doing well and progressing. It's not a competitive thing. I can't really explain the effect it has me.

The euphoria of realizing the outcome of a large scale project. You can stand back and look at everything you've done and realize that all the little things and big things can be strung together to make one single unit.

So I guess my inspiration is the compound of all tasks I've completed.

alright thanks guys :) "but the thing that does it the most would have to be seeing others doing well and progressing. It's not a competitive thing. I can't really explain the effect it has me." I agree with that, it helps to see others progress. "The euphoria of realizing the outcome of a large scale project. You can stand back and look at everything you've done and realize that all the little things and big things can be strung together to make one single unit." that's true as well, "M" little things can become large :) I really like this :) thanks guys for posting :)

If you are wondering, another thing that really inspires me is my best buddy, even though he may not realize his impact on me, he is truly amazing. :)

I'm inspired whenever I see a movie. It's probably because I rarely ever sit down in a theater to watch a movie. I usually just read the wikipedia synopsis to see if the movie's idea is interesting.

But when I *do* sit down to see a movie, it's because the movie really appeals to my imagination. I would have already read the movie synopsis, analyzed the basic plot points, and read several reviews. If I'm still excited after all those spoilers, then it's a movie worthy of my time and money. The Day the Earth Stood Still is a good example. I'm still mulling over the possibilities of having tree-hugging aliens.

I think my pride is the only thing that inspires me.
Whenever I get depressed, I just say to myself:
"FUCK YOU UNIVERSE; I'M JAMES ERIC BERGERON, AND I'LL BE DAMNED IF I LOSE TO YOU!"

That usually cheers me up, allowing me to continue my work. =D
Basically, I don't play to win, I play to not lose. I'm a tenacious bastard, even if I have no reason to be. XD

yeah, so true. I had a vocal tec class, and we always had to preform in front of others... at first it was really hard, but then you just get use to it :)
