Game: [Soul Nomad & The World Eaters]
Song Title: [BAD BOYS]
Requested Instruments: Piano, Saxophone, Bass Guitar, and Drums/Percussion if possible - however, Piano alone would be more than enough.

I've always been fascinated by this particular style of music, when it hasn't been accompanied by lyrics. I'd be glad to know what it is actually called.

I play, and generally learn, by ear and do not adhere to using any sort of standard terminology, but it wouldn't hurt to pick up on it since I'm here. Also, I don't read sheet music well, but I can nonetheless read it with some effort. So, I'm being unorthodox by my own standards today. Great, huh?

Thank you, helpful souls!

For all those out there (looks like me so far, but hey, the thread might actually get noticed this way, so assuming there's no rules against a -single- double-post with new content, yay) who like music done by Tenpei Sato (the guy who did Disgaea's music, among other things), and specifically that of Soul Nomad and the World Eaters, here's a short list of my favorites that it wouldn't hurt if there were also some transcriptions of (any instruments will do), along with the disc of the OST they happen to be on.

(Note: Reason I didn't post these earlier was I was in a bit of a time crunch and had just come across this site)

Disc 1
Speed Queen
Desperado
Gemini
Levin
Crying for the Dark Sky

Disc 2
The Lost Forest
Water Mirror of the Gods
Cradle Blues
With the Turn of a Head and a Smile
Rock'n Rocks

Hopefully there's some more Sato fans out there!
