Classic rock is rock and roll music from about 1963-1982 (rough estimates). Band range from the harder rock like Ozzy Osbourne to the more folk-rock, like Kansas. Personally, I particularly enjoy the bands The Police and Blue Oyster Cult, because they use their knowledge of instruments and vocal harmony to it's fullest (of course, I do listen to other bands). So what're you guys's favorites?

Too many classic rock bands to count. I guess some of my favourites would be Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears and Pink Floyd. I like Chicago and BST because of their great integration horns into a rock band and Pink Floyd, well, how can you not like Pink Floyd? They wrote a song in 7/4, that's just awesome.

Obvious choice being the Beatles. That's pretty much the only one I like, unless you can count John Denven or Don McLean as the rock you're talking about.

Deep purple of course, not sure if Stranglers count

i love classic rock too! range from B-52, Queen, Lvl 41 to Deep Purple (child in time rocks!)

haha..sadly yes. but guess there isnt much "publicity" on classic rock here in the area i live in. luckily i was influenced by my father who used to play the music then, when i was still young :)
